So we are back with another amazing NEW features update for you!
As always, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to build new integrations and make our current features more flexible and powerful for you to use.
This latest round of updates includes new email integrations, a new Google maps element, and much more.
But the most significant platform update is not something new, but an improvement to the speed at which the editor loads. You will love how noticeably quicker this is.
Opening and editing in the OptimizeBuilder is now lightning-fast.
Fast just got even faster. 😎
Let’s dive straight in and take a detailed look at the latest updates and new features that we have added to your OptimizePress.
Firstly the page builder has had a BIG speed boost.
The fastest just got even faster...🏎️💨💨💨💨💨💨
You’d think it was now running on Redbull when you experience how quickly it loads.
We made a 400% increase in speed!!
And yes, you did read that right! We've managed to increase the speed by 400%.!!!
Now our editor wasn't slow in the first place compared to all the other WordPress page builders we tested, but the dev team spent hours refining the code as you'll experience soon.
This is a massive improvement on what was already a super fast editor! The OptimizePress Lightning Builder has definitely earned its name!
Try it for yourself. Time the editor opening, update your OptimizePress suite of plugins, and then time the same page opening again.
Post your results in the comments below, please. Or reply with a thank you for our developers.
They'll go all warm and gooey reading your comments.
Here it is in action!
Our development team has worked hard on improving the opening speed of the editor and most importantly, the page editing speed.
By that, we mean the speed at which elements load in the sidebar, the speed when they open, and the speed the toolbar options open when you are using them while editing your pages.
Making such a huge speed improvement is an update that requires a lot of in-depth coding time, analysing where we can make subtle refinements.
Why Is The Page Builder Speed Important?
Time is the most valuable resource we have. In business terms, the more time you have to spend on marketing means the more time you have to focus on revenue-generating activity.
The more revenue you generate means you can make more time for lifestyle.
It's a win-win. 🎉 🎉 🎉
We've had full integration with MailChimp running for some time, but the latest update allows you to start tagging your leads inside of your MailChimp account.
This feature works by either creating your tags in Mailchimp first or creating them inside of OptimizePress at the opt-form set-up stage.
If the tag you create doesn’t already exist inside MailChimp, it will automatically get created when a lead gets sent to Mailchimp via the OptimizePress form.
The example below shows the tags added to the lead.
The benefit of this update to our Mailchimp integration is that you can now tag individual leads, based on the details they provide at opt-in. You can then trigger Mailchimp automation right inside your other marketing campaigns.
Why Segment Your Leads?
Segmenting your leads means you can send more targeted offers to each person. Not everyone who lands on your blog or clicks through to a landing page is wanting to achieve the same thing.
Using the tagging features in your email provider means you can divide who wants what. Or, you can use advanced forms to better segment subscribers.
While this might sound like a lot of work now, you will see the benefit later when you come to make sales offers to your list.
Let's say you have a new product to sell related to a checklist lead magnet. If you tagged your leads correctly, you could first send out an offer to anyone you have tagged with your checklist tags. As they've already shown interest in checklists, there is a higher chance they will buy a related product.
Last month we shared that we would be releasing a Sendinblue integration and here it is live inside of OptimizePress. Sendinblue includes many standard marketing automation features, SMS support, chat, transactional email, segmentation, and a growing list of integration partners.
They offer a free pricing plan with unlimited contacts and 300 emails per day!
Now that’s pretty good, especially if you are starting in the world of selling online and running on a shoestring budget.
Go to integrations, search for Sendinblue, and away you go!
Top Tip - Advance Custom Forms
We're always looking to add new features that can increase your conversions. One way you can make gains is by making sure your website visitors can easy understand your product offerings.
When designing our OptimizePress pages, we sometimes found we wanted to add two sets of alternative content. Having an option to display two sets of content would allow visitors to switch between them easily.
Out of this need, the 2 Panel Switcher element was born.
You'll likely to have seen similar elements on some pricing pages you've visited in the past, as this is the most common implementation of this kind of feature.
Here's an example of a pricing page with a 2 Panel Switcher element to allow a visitor to switch between Monthly and Yearly pricing:
We wanted to allow you to go beyond pricing tables with this element, so we made it super flexible (like most of our OptimizePress elements).
With the 2 Panel Switcher, you have two separate content "panels" where you can drop anything you want from within the OptimizeBuilder.
The 2 Panel Switcher means you can drop in opt-in forms (perhaps you want to offer a different optin offer depending on your visitor's preference), or you could even show different benefit sections depending on how your visitors identify themselves.
Here's an example of the 2 Panel Switcher being used to show benefits for a software product based on whether the visitor selects their business type as Saas or Agency:
As well as allowing you to drop any content into the content panels of the 2 Panel Switcher you can also extensively customise the switcher design itself to fit your business brand.
We're excited to see how you put this ultra-flexible element to work on your landing pages and sales pages.
This new element now brings advanced navigating to your site. If you have involved page structuring, a simple breadcrumb can remove user frustration and enhance your site’s usability.
The easier it is for your visitors to navigate your site, the higher your conversions will be. Clear and simple direction helps to highlight calls to action and sales messaging.
Any of your existing pages in WordPress can now have a breadcrumb added to them. If the page has a parent page on your site, then the breadcrumb will show those pages.
Think of it as a pathway to show where the user is and how they can get back to where they were.
And like all our elements, the design flexibility is endless. You can adjust font, padding width, icon, icon colour, and lots more.
There’s no limit to where you add this element on your pages. You could even try adding them to your footers and header menus.
Yes, that’s right, you can now add Google Maps to your webpages. Maps are perfect for those who have a physical business or run events and want to show the physical locations.
Maps on your website represent your actual business location and add trust. Trust is a big factor in website conversions. Anything you can do to build trust with leads will mean an increase in opt-in rates and sales.
Most importantly, adding maps to your webpages is a quick way for people to see the location of your business or event.
The new element lets you add a location by City / Post Code / Zip Code and the map style can be edited with contrast, grayscale, and brightness.

The OptimizePress Lightning Builder allows simple inline editing that means you can create and edit your webpages with speed and ease.
To keep the interface clean and the editing experience fast, we have a wide range of editing options on the "right-click" of your mouse.
Options that are easy to access and often used, like, clone, copy, paste and mark as a global element.
While this allows superfast editing, you cannot use the right mouse click for the other general browser functions like spell checking. These options were not accessible when the editor was using right-click for editing options.
The example below is what would happen if you right-clicked to fix a typo.
So we've updated it!
We made a few adjustments to the development code, and now the right-click functions can be used by holding down the SHIFT key.
Think of it as cancelling out the page builder right-click options. So when you press SHIFT then right-click, you'll see your normal browser options menu!
Go on, stand up and have a little cheer to yourself!
Coming Soon! 🎉
Here's a preview of what's coming next! These new features are going through testing at the time of writing this article.
Our new Amazon S3 integration lets you create a connection between your OptimizeCheckouts installation and your Amazon S3 account for hosting larger file downloads.
Amazon S3 gives you a great way to offer larger files as part of your file downloads attached to products created and sold with OptimizeCheckouts. By using Amazon S3 storage/hosting, you don't take up valuable space on your server, and also don't consume your server resources when customers download files.
The pricing for S3 bandwidth and storage is incredibly cheap and is still a popular way to deliver files on the web.
We have made the ultimate content tabs switcher that can hold text, images, videos, and even opt-in forms.
You can edit borders, activate background colours, active text colour, text size, plus a lot more.
You can make these tabs look like buttons or menu rows.
The new tabs element will help give you a super flexible new way to display your content on your websites built with OptimizePress.
We'd love to hear from you! Let us know which features you're most excited about, or what you're excited about in 'our coming soon' plans, and we'll keep the updates rolling out!
