With the Post List element, you will no longer be required to know complex CSS or even be required to hire a web developer. You can replicate designs as used by established websites in just a few clicks.

When first inserting the Post List element to your page, you will be taken to the Query Builder. This takes you through the process of customizing the data for your post list in a step-by-step format.

Under the Content Criteria, you will be able to select from related and post types.

Selecting Post Types will allow you to list your content from any of the post types that are available on your WordPress site.

For this example, we’ve selected Posts. But as you will see, you will have the flexibility to select from whichever post type you prefer.

    Content Criteria

Customize the content used by your Post List element in the query builder

From here, you can filter your content further by using the Filter options available using rules and conditions.

    Filter Criteria

For this example, we’ve added rules to show posts using a single taxonomy that is written by a specific author.

With filters, you will now have the creative freedom to set your own conditions to display whichever content you prefer.

Inserting post listings on your page has never been easier and is now possible inside the OptimizeBuilder.

    Feature 3

    Flexible Pagination Customizations

Would you like more flexibility on the look and feel of how visitors navigate through your posts?

The easier it is for people to find the content they are looking for, the more likely they are to engage with your site, and this leads to an increased chance of them subscribing and buying from you.

With the new post list element, in addition to choosing which content to display, we have also opened up the ability to completely customize your pagination or navigation. Now you can decide what content to include that best fits your brand.

In the Pagination section in the Query Builder, you can select from various pagination options including numbered buttons, load more buttons and infinite scroll.

Here you will be able to decide how many posts to display per page as well as what Navigation Type to use and where to position it.

    Pagination Settings

In this example, we’ve selected the Pagination Buttons option and positioned the navigation to the Bottom of the listings.

    Pagination Position

With your pagination options confirmed, you will be able to do further edits and customizations using the OptimizeBuilder and the Pagination Options toolbar.

As you can see, the level of granular control with the different parts of the Post list element give a huge degree of flexibility to match this element to your blog and site style.

    Feature 4

Add Related Post Widgets On A Blog Post

One of the advantages of growing a blog is getting fresh traffic to your website.

Google rewards great quality content with higher search visibility. However, visitors leaving your site prematurely can affect your rankings, which can be a real problem for business owners.

By adding a related posts section at the bottom of your posts, this has proven to encourage readers to click on more of your posts and continue reading.

    Science Of People Related Posts

Previously, this was achieved by using third-party WordPress plugins, which can drastically slow down your website.

Now, with the Post List element, you will be able to add related posts directly to your pages ready to engage readers and reduce bounce rates.

      Related Posts Settings

By choosing the Related selection in the Content options inside the Query Builder and the content type, your posts will neatly display on the bottom of your posts or anywhere you decide to use it.

      Related Posts Widget

The related posts feature will allow you to customize which taxonomies (e.g. categories or tags) are used to match to your current post, meaning you have full control over the content that’s recommended to your readers.

      Feature 5

      Integration With OptimizeMentor

The main focus of the post list element is to showcase your blog content, but as mentioned above, this is a powerful element with multiple functions.

Have you ever wanted a way to subtly upsell your other courses to existing customers?

If the answer is yes, then the new Post List element allows you to set up post lists to beautifully display all of your related courses, helping you make more course sales.

The Post List element seamlessly integrates with OptimizeMentor, allowing you to select from your courses and course taxonomies.

Simply select the Post Types option and choose Courses under the dropdown.

      Recommended Courses Settings

By selecting your courses, you will be able to add further filters and customise how your listings are presented using the Query Builder’s wealth of options.

As you use the Post List element, you will see it has many use cases. With its flexible design options and wide range of filtering controls, this truly is a powerful and dynamic element for you to use on your websites and in your marketing funnels.

What will you do with the post list element?

With the Post List element, you now have the flexibility and freedom to display a grid of links to any of your WordPress content (pages, posts, custom post types) in a design and style that matches your brand.

We’ve only just scratched the surface of what is possible with this new element, and we’ll share more use cases and examples soon.
