Today we're excited to announce the release of some brand new features for OptimizePress. These updates will make your pages pop and engage visitors so you can convert more subscribers and customers.

In this product updates post, we're excited to reveal the latest features we've added to OptimizePress, which we know you will love.
We've got a new Magic Video Overlay for the video player element, a new gradient text style that will transform your headlines and make your pages pop, plus we added Hubspot oAuth integration.
These features will help you improve the conversation rates on your pages and add some extra refinement to how you use the OptimizeBuilder.
Oh… And we've added two brand new template collections to the MarketPlace for you to purchase.
Keep reading to learn more...
Feature 1
There’s no question that video is one of the most engaging and highest-converting types of media you can have on your website.
As internet browsers no longer allow you to autoplay video, you’ve lost an opportunity to make an instant connection.
But what if there was a way to draw attention to your videos and keep web browsers happy?
With the new Magic Video Overlay feature, you can now use our intelligent autoplay to start your videos while muted (which browsers allow). Your overlay graphic will then be presented to allow visitors to restart your videos (with sound) with one-click .
This instantly engages visitors and encourages them to consume your video content.
Here are just a few of the benefits of using this incredible feature:
As with all features in OptimizePress, we have made using this powerful feature simple and straightforward.
In the Video Element options, you will now see a brand new tab called Magic Overlay.

A simple mouse click turns on the Video Magic Overlay toggle, and you’re all set. Your video will now begin autoplay silently in the background. We included a custom placeholder icon for you to use or upload your own.
As soon as your visitor clicks the play button or your click for sound button - your video will automatically restart with sound enabled!

Feature 2
We have added a new conversion dimension to text headlines by introducing colour gradients.
No more bland and unengaging headlines that visitors scroll past. You need your headlines to pop and sing your sales message to people.
With our new headline gradient feature, your visitors will instantly stand up and take notice, improving your page retention and conversions.
You might have seen an increased use of gradient headlines - it’s a strong design trend for 2023.
To get started, highlight the headline text you would like to apply a gradient to and click the text colour icon.
You will now see new options under the colour type dropdown including Linear Gradient, Radial Gradient and Conic Gradient.

Selecting one of these new gradient options will allow you to set the gradient angle (for linear gradient), colour count, and the colours you would like your text gradient to include.

With your selections confirmed, your headline will now beautifully display on your page, ready to engage your visitors and commit them to buying your products.
Please Note: We recommend only using headline gradient colours on single-colour backgrounds otherwise, you might make your content hard to read.
Feature 3
With the new Event Links element, you can now share links for your events directly with people who register. This means that rather than be limited by the design flexibility of your event/webinar platform templates, you can use the full power of the OptimizePress page builder.
The Event Links element makes it easier to maintain your branding and fully control your page styling while allowing visitors to access their webinar links.
Upon integrating Demio, EverWebinar or WebinarJam, you will see the elements displayed on the OptimizeBuilder element listings sidebar, which you can drag and insert into your page template.
These elements should be used on your thank you page - set as the thank you page after an opt-in form integrated with your webinar platform - as they will then receive the correct information for your event.

Feature 4
In this update to our integration with Hubspot, we’ve added support for their oAuth authentication.
With OAuth’s framework, you can now have a more secure connection; resulting in a stable and more streamlined integration.

To get started, head over to OptimizePress > Integrations and click the blue Add New Integration button.
Scroll down until you find Hubspot oAuth.

Enter your Client & Client Secret ID in the fields provided and you’re all set.
Please Note: You may need to reauthenticate your Hubspot account. Navigate to Settings, select Integrations, and pick HubSpot from the list.
Next click the "Edit" link for your existing integration. This will enable you to access the button to reconnect your account using their updated oAuth mechanism.
By following these steps, your existing rules and forms will remain unchanged and intact without the need for any additional modifications.
Feature 5
This is a simple update but one that adds an extra level of convenience to your page-building experience.
Have you ever copied and pasted text from another source but felt frustrated that it wouldn’t format correctly? This is often a problem encountered by WordPress users.
With our latest update, we’ve added rich text formatting to our text editor, which means you no longer have to worry about text issues when you copy and paste from other platforms or documents.
OptimizePress will automatically strip out all hidden stylings and insert only what’s needed; text that is rich, lightweight and easily edited. This also avoids any unnecessary clutter that might slow down a page.
Feature 6
Our latest update would not be complete without introducing two brand-new template collections that are now available to buy in the OptimizePress Marketplace.

I can’t figure out what you’ve done to support HubSpot oAuth Integration. Your instructions are completely useless. When you build a public HubSpot App, that makes connecting your app to their platform seamless, then you would have done something worth mentioning.
Kim-Dave – I’m sorry to hear you’ve had a few issues with the HubSpot integration. We updated our training/guidance video here: https://docs.optimizepress.com/article/2494-integrating-with-hubspot/
We will investigate adding a native app – the issue with this is because we are not a hosted SaaS app where there is one URL on the app side (OptimizePress side) to receive the notification, it’s very difficult to make this work. This is why we built the oAuth option so you can have your own app that directly connects your HubSpot and your own OptimizePress website.
If you have any problems getting this setup, drop our support a message and we’ll be happy to assist.
