We are back again with another site critique and this was much harder than the previous. The site we look at today is a marketing agency, however, they already have a great looking site.
Now you might be thinking – why critique a site that already looks good?
Well firstly, Steve was active in our Facebook Group, on blog comments and he happily put himself forward for our first site critique. And secondly, he knows it’s always good to have another set of eyes going over your site.
When you look at it every day you can easily miss obvious conversion or copywriting mistakes that if fixed or tested could get you more clients.
The site today is:
Naked Digital Marketing
www.ndigitalmarketing.co.uk
Steve and I had a brief discussion on our landing pages post so I wanted to make sure I reviewed his site. It was already on my radar and we wanted the chance to show it to everyone. He site clearly shows how you can build trust with your audience.

OptimizePress Template
As this was a hard page to critique, I felt everyone deserved a new template inspired by Steve’s design.
You can download the download this business template, replace the image of Steve with one of yourself and use template on your own site.
Resources
For our template, I found a workspace image from Unsplash and modified a template from our members ClubHouse.

Take Aways
Some points to take away from Steve’s page so you can build trust on your own pages:
- Build Trust by including images of yourself.
- Add your phone number.
- Show opening hours.
- Show testimonials.
Action Steps
So, what should the owner of this site do next to improve conversion?
- Split test form fields.
- Split test Call To Action button text.
- Split test headlines.
- Add more spacing around featured in section.
- Add more spacing around testimonials.
- Try darker images or background overlay making font easier to read.
- Split test our new page with the current page and track results.

Hello , i cant download the templates , i click but its not send mail or download…
thanks for help
Hi Bagriel, It is sent after in a zip file.
After i installed the theme, i got the message “Content template installed successfully”, but the template is NOT in the list of Pages to choose. I tried it with the Optimizepress theme activated and the Optimizepress Plugin activated – both dont work.
I tried another theme (Classy) – it works.
What can i do to activate that theme?
Don’t unzip the the file you downloaded and it will work.
Love the sneaky trust badges in the featured in section…genius!!
Loving your site as well Marcus!
I love this template, many thanks!!! 😀
Thanks Jose!
Yes, there is not such a category, I also opened the config file and renamed the dir into the optin pages, and it does not appear… i m using the plugin version….
ps i ve discovered it s a bug. the file is installed perfectly in another webiste 😐
Please drop an email to us at support and we can take a look.
Sorry I made the same mistake as JK ….. i tried to open the “link in a new tab” instead of clicking the download template button directly….. Thx David
You’re welcome!
Well, I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong…I’ve made sure WP & OP are up to date, and re-downloaded the template 3 times. When I upload the template, it “says” it’s installed, but doesn’t create a new category, doesn’t show up anywhere in the list. So sad, as this is a PERFECT fit for redesigning my business site.
Hi Tam, If you are still having issues please drop us an email at support.
You have to upload it from the OP menu in WP, not from WP themes upload.
Same problem David – pop up to capture emails on the optimize leads page to download this template is not working… Tried both Chrome & Firefox no luck
Try a different browser or reload the page. I’ve tested multiple times across different devices with no issues and the template has been download hundreds of times.
My mistake. It doesn’t work when opened in a new tab. On this page, it works just fine. Thank you for this post and the gift!
It shouldn’t open a new tab unless you clicked the button before your browser loads all the page scripts.
I upload the template but the new category does not appear… so i cannot select it (WP and OPT are updated).. any work around?
It should appear under business pages. Did you search the template page for the template name?
I got an error message “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.” Any idea what I need to do next?
Make sure WP and OP is up to date. Try downloading again.
David
Good critique.
Are you aware that the pop up to capture emails on the optimize leads page to download this template is not working?
Hi JK. It’s working ok for us and lots of people have managed to download the template. What is not working for you?
On my Mac, this template discards any changes I make and pops a Create New Row window.
Make sure you are running the latest version or WordPress & OptimizePress. I’ve tested uploading them template and didn’t experience that issue.
Thank you great information, working on rebranding my site now.
Excellent! Let us see you site once it’s complete!
