If you're looking for an Instapage alternative, you've probably reached the point where you want more from your landing pages, whether that's lower costs, greater control over your website, more flexible funnels, or tools for selling products and courses.

Instapage remains a powerful landing page platform, particularly for businesses focused heavily on paid advertising and landing page optimisation. But it's not the right fit for everyone.

For WordPress users especially, there are alternatives that combine landing pages with the wider tools needed to turn visitors into customers.

In this guide, we'll compare 8 of the best Instapage alternatives for 2026, looking at their features, pricing, strengths and limitations and explain which option makes the most sense for different types of businesses.

For WordPress users who want more than landing pages, OptimizePress is our top alternative to Instapage. It combines landing pages, funnels, checkout, upsells and online course functionality directly within WordPress, without tying your costs to the number of visitors your pages receive.

Instapage Pricing and Features in 2026

Before comparing Instapage competitors, it helps to be clear about what you’d be replacing. Instapage has changed quite a bit in the last year, so some of what you read elsewhere is out of date.

What Instapage Includes

Instapage homepage describing its AI-powered landing page builder

Instapage is a hosted landing page platform. In late 2025 it added email, contacts, and a multi-page website builder, positioning itself as an “end-to-end conversion marketing platform”. According to Instapage’s plans page, it includes:

A drag-and-drop landing page builder with templates, reusable Instablocks sections, and AI content generation
Popups and sticky bars on every plan
Real-time collaboration for teams, with up to 10 team members on Create and Optimize
Contacts and built-in email sending, with monthly send allowances that rise by plan
Server-side A/B testing, dynamic text replacement, and multi-step forms from the Optimize plan
AdMap, heatmaps, ad-to-page personalisation, AI experiments, and global elements on the Convert plan only
120+ integrations, including Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Zapier, and a WordPress plugin

There’s no native checkout. Instapage’s help centre points to third-party options such as Stripe through an integration, PayPal buttons, or a Shopify Buy Button. There are no course or membership features either.

Instapage Pricing

Instapage pricing: Create $79, Optimize $159 per month billed annually, and Convert custom

Instapage prices its plans mainly by the number of unique visitors your pages receive each month.

PlanMonthly billingAnnual billingUnique visitors/monthKey features
Create$99/month$79/month ($948/year)15,000Builder, AI content, popups, collaboration, contacts and email
Optimize$199/month$159/month ($1,908/year)30,000Adds server-side A/B testing, dynamic text replacement, multi-step forms, scheduling
Optimize (expanded)$299/month$239/month ($2,868/year)50,000Same features, with more subdomains and workspaces
ConvertCustomCustomCustomAdds heatmaps, AdMap, ad-to-page personalisation, AI experiments, global elements, root-domain publishing, enterprise SSO, and a customer success manager

All plans include unlimited pages, conversions, and contacts. Usage above 50,000 visitors a month is handled through sales on an annual contract.

There’s a 14-day free trial on Create and Optimize, but it needs a credit card and is capped at 2,500 unique visitors. If you reach that cap, the trial ends and your paid plan starts. There’s no free plan, and Instapage’s terms describe fees as non-refundable.

Why People Look for an Instapage Replacement

Across user reviews, forum threads, and comparison articles, the same reasons come up again and again:

The price is high for smaller teams. The entry plan costs $948 a year on annual billing, and split testing, which many people buy a landing page tool for, starts at $1,908 a year.
Costs rise with your traffic. Each plan has a monthly visitor limit. A successful campaign that pushes you from 30,000 to 40,000 visitors moves you from $1,908 to $2,868 a year. Exceeding your limit can also lead to account restrictions or unpublished pages.
The most distinctive features sit on the custom plan. Heatmaps, AdMap, and ad-to-page personalisation are Convert-only, so many teams pay for Instapage without using what sets it apart.
The trial is restrictive. A card is required, traffic is capped at 2,500 visitors, and there’s no stated money-back guarantee.
It doesn’t sell for you. There’s no native checkout, order bumps, upsells, courses, or memberships. If you sell products, services, or programmes, you’ll need more tools alongside it.
Your pages live on Instapage. Instapage’s help centre explains that live pages need an active subscription. If you cancel, your account moves to a free builder: you keep access to your pages, but they can’t be published.
It sits beside WordPress, not inside it. Instapage’s WordPress plugin can display pages on your domain, but the pages are still built, hosted, and billed in Instapage.

None of this makes Instapage a poor product. These are the trade-offs of a premium hosted platform, and they’re worth weighing against what each alternative offers.

What to Look for in an Instapage Alternative

An Instapage alternative doesn’t need to copy every Instapage feature. It needs to cover the parts you rely on, at a price that still makes sense as your campaigns grow. Work through these questions before you compare tools:

  1. How much traffic do your pages get? Check your monthly unique visitors, then price each option at that level and at double it. Some tools charge by visitors, some by contacts, and some a flat annual fee.
  2. Which testing features do you use? If you run split tests every month, check which plan includes them. On several tools, including Instapage, testing starts on the second tier.
  3. Do you need personalisation at scale? Dynamic text replacement, which swaps headline text to match an ad keyword, is common. Full ad-to-page personalisation across hundreds of ads is rarer and usually expensive.
  4. Do you sell from your pages? If you sell courses, coaching, or digital products, look for built-in checkouts, order bumps, and one-click upsells rather than adding a separate cart.
  5. Where should your pages live? Hosted tools handle servers and updates for you. A WordPress-based tool keeps your pages, content, and SEO on a site you control, but you manage hosting.
  6. Will it connect to your stack? Confirm native integrations with your email platform, CRM, analytics, and ad accounts before you switch.
  7. How many people and clients will use it? Team seats, workspaces, client sites, and agency licences vary widely between tools.
  8. How hard is the move? You’ll be rebuilding pages, so consider how many live pages you have and how easily you can update ad destination URLs.

The 8 Best Instapage Alternatives in Detail

The best Instapage alternative depends on what you need from your landing page platform.
Some tools are better suited to paid advertising teams, while others focus on simplicity, website design or all-in-one funnels.

We've included the main alternatives worth considering below, with OptimizePress ranked first because it offers the strongest combination of landing pages, funnels and selling tools for WordPress users.

1. OptimizePress: The Instapage Alternative for WordPress

OptimizePress homepage, the WordPress page builder for landing pages, funnels and checkouts

OptimizePress is a suite of WordPress plugins for building landing pages, sales pages, sales funnels, checkouts, online courses, and membership sites on your own WordPress website. Instead of renting pages on a hosted platform, it adds marketing and selling tools to a site you already control.

The key difference from Instapage is the model. Instapage charges by visitors and focuses on landing pages and ad optimisation. OptimizePress charges a flat annual fee and covers the whole path from opt-in to purchase: pages, funnels, checkouts, upsells, and course delivery.

OptimizePress Key Features

  • OptimizeBuilder: a drag-and-drop page builder with a large template library for landing pages, sales pages, webinar registration pages, and full websites
  • OptimizeFunnels: a visual WordPress funnel builder for mapping opt-in, sales, upsell, downsell, and thank-you steps, with split testing and funnel-stage analytics
  • OptimizeCheckouts: a WordPress checkout plugin with Stripe and PayPal, order bumps, one-click upsells and downsells, subscriptions, payment plans, coupon codes, and EU VAT calculation
  • OptimizeMentor: a course and membership platform with modules, drip scheduling, multiple membership levels, and access control by course, module, or page
  • OptimizeUrgency and OptimizeFlow: countdown timers (including evergreen timers) and workflow automation triggered by form submissions, payments, logins, and other site events
  • ThemeBuilder: control of headers, footers, blog templates, and site-wide layouts, so your landing pages and main website share one design system
  • Integrations: more than 50 integrations, including ActiveCampaign, Kit (ConvertKit), Mailchimp, MailerLite, AWeber, Keap, HighLevel, and Zapier

OptimizePress Strengths

Flat annual pricing: plans don’t change with your number of visitors, pages, or contacts, so a successful campaign doesn’t push you onto a more expensive plan.
Split testing at a much lower price: split testing is part of the Scale plan at $199 a year, compared with $1,908 a year for Instapage Optimize.
Built to sell, not only to capture leads: checkouts, order bumps, one-click upsells, subscriptions, and courses are included on Scale and Elevate.
0% platform transaction fees: you pay only your Stripe or PayPal processing rates.
Your site, your content: pages, funnels, and courses live on your WordPress install and your domain, alongside your blog and SEO content.
Keep the tools you like: connect your existing email platform or CRM rather than moving your list.

OptimizePress Limitations

You need WordPress hosting. OptimizePress runs on a self-hosted WordPress site, and hosting is a separate cost.
No built-in email sending. You’ll connect an email marketing service, where Instapage now includes email sends.
No equivalent to AdMap or ad-to-page personalisation. If you manage hundreds of ads that each need a personalised page, Instapage’s Convert plan is built for that job.
Some WordPress upkeep. You’re responsible for updates, backups, and security on your site, although most managed WordPress hosts handle much of this.
The Launch plan is page building only. Funnels, split testing, checkouts, and courses start on Scale.

OptimizePress Pricing

OptimizePress pricing: Launch $129, Scale $199 and Elevate $249 per year

OptimizePress pricing is billed annually and renews at the same price:

Launch: $129/year, 1 site, OptimizeBuilder
Scale: $199/year, 5 sites, the full suite (OptimizeBuilder, OptimizeFunnels, OptimizeCheckouts, OptimizeMentor, OptimizeUrgency, OptimizeFlow, and ThemeBuilder)
Elevate: $249/year, 25 sites, everything in Scale plus client use

Every plan includes a 30-day money-back guarantee. There’s no free trial.

OptimizePress Best For

Coaches, consultants, course creators, and small businesses that already use WordPress, or want to, and need landing pages that lead into a sale.

It’s especially good value if your traffic is growing, because the price stays the same. Agencies can build pages and funnels for clients on up to 25 sites with the Elevate plan.

If you’d rather run courses and a community on a hosted platform, Kourses, our sister product, is a simpler option for course delivery, with plans from $108 a year and 0% transaction fees.

Unbounce Key Features

Unbounce Limitations

Still priced by traffic: plans are capped at 500, 20,000, 30,000, and 50,000 visitors a month.
Testing costs more: A/B testing starts on Experiment at $112/month billed annually, and Smart Traffic is only on Optimize at $187/month.
Hosted, and focused on pages: there’s no native checkout, upsell, or course delivery, and your pages live on Unbounce.

3. Leadpages

Leadpages AI landing page builder homepage

Leadpages is a hosted landing page builder aimed at small businesses. Its biggest difference from Instapage is pricing: every plan includes unlimited traffic, so you don’t pay more when a campaign takes off.

Leadpages Key Features

Leadpages Checkouts page showing Stripe checkout, recurring payments and order bumps
HTML Pub plans for simple, low-cost page publishing
Unlimited pages and manual A/B testing from the Grow plan

Leadpages Strengths

Unlimited traffic: Leadpages says every plan has unlimited traffic and no overage fees.
Low-cost starting point: HTML Pub Starter costs $8/month billed annually for up to 5 pages.
Payments on the page: Leadpages markets Stripe checkouts with no Leadpages transaction fees. Check which plan includes them, as the pricing page doesn’t say.

Leadpages Limitations

Short trial with a card: the free trial lasts 7 days and needs a credit card.
Testing costs about the same as Instapage Create: A/B testing starts on Grow at $948 a year and isn’t available on HTML Pub.
Page limits on the cheaper tiers: HTML Pub plans allow 5, 25, or 50 pages.
Hosted only: your pages live on Leadpages.

Leadpages Pricing

From the Leadpages pricing page:

HTML Pub Starter / Pro / Business: $10, $29, or $49/month, or $8, $23, or $39/month billed annually (5, 25, or 50 pages)
Grow: $99/month, or $79/month billed annually ($948/year): unlimited pages, A/B testing, 4 custom domains
Optimize: $199/month, or $159/month billed annually ($1,908/year): adds Smart Traffic, heatmaps, auto-personalisation

4. Landingi

Landingi AI landing page builder homepage with example landing pages

Landingi is a hosted landing page platform with a low entry price. It includes dynamic text replacement on every plan, which Instapage reserves for Optimize and above.

Landingi Key Features

Landingi landing page A/B testing tool page
Drag-and-drop landing page builder
Dynamic text replacement on all plans
Server-side A/B testing, popup builder, and multi-language pages from the Optimize plan

Landingi Strengths

Low entry price: the Build plan costs $24/month billed annually.
Dynamic text replacement from the start: useful for matching headlines to ad keywords.
Generous team seats: 5 users on Build and 10 on Optimize.

Landingi Limitations

Tight limits on Build: 10 pages and 2,000 visits a month, which suits a small campaign rather than an ongoing ad programme.
Testing and popups cost more: both start on Optimize at $119/month billed annually.
Restrictive trial: the 14-day trial is capped at 200 visits, and your card is charged when it ends.
Hosted only, and monthly billing prices aren’t shown on the pricing page.

Landingi Pricing

From Landingi’s pricing page, billed annually:

Build: $24/month ($288/year): 10 pages, 2,000 visits/month, 1 domain

5. Swipe Pages

Swipe Pages homepage for mobile optimized AMP landing pages

Swipe Pages is a hosted landing page builder with a mobile-first focus. It stands out for how much traffic its plans include for the price.

Swipe Pages Key Features

AMP pages on every plan
Server-side A/B testing and dynamic text replacement from the Marketer plan
Up to 500,000 visitors a month and unlimited domains on the Agency plan

No-card trial: 14 days with full features and no credit card.
Agency headroom: the Agency plan includes 500,000 visitors and unlimited domains.

Swipe Pages Limitations

Testing starts on Marketer: A/B testing and dynamic text replacement aren’t on Startup.
AMP matters less than it did: Instapage has dropped AMP pages, saying Google phased AMP out, so check whether AMP still helps your campaigns before choosing on that basis.
Hosted, and focused on pages: you’ll need other tools for checkouts, upsells, and courses.

Swipe Pages Pricing

A/B testing on every plan, including the entry plan.

ClickFunnels Limitations

Expensive for landing pages alone: if you only need ad landing pages, you’re paying for funnels, email, and courses you may not use.
Course limits: 3 courses on Launch, 6 on Scale, and 10 on Optimize.
Hosted only: your pages and data live on ClickFunnels.

ClickFunnels Pricing

7. HubSpot

HubSpot free landing page builder in Content Hub

HubSpot includes a landing page builder in its free tools and its Content Hub. The main reason to choose it is the connection to HubSpot’s CRM: every form submission lands straight in your contact records.

HubSpot Key Features

Free landing page builder (up to 30 pages with HubSpot branding)
Native connection to HubSpot CRM, forms, and email
A/B testing, adaptive testing (up to 5 variations), and smart content on Content Hub Professional
Up to 10,000 landing pages on Professional and Enterprise

HubSpot Strengths

Free starting point: you can build and publish landing pages without paying.
CRM built in: lead data, email follow-up, and reporting live in one system.
Adaptive testing: Professional can shift traffic towards the best-performing variation automatically.

HubSpot Limitations

Testing is expensive: A/B and adaptive testing need Content Hub Professional at $450/month on an annual commitment.
Per-seat pricing: Starter is priced per seat, and Professional includes 3 core seats.
Best value only inside HubSpot: if you don’t use HubSpot CRM, you’re paying for an ecosystem you won’t use.

HubSpot Pricing

From HubSpot’s Content Hub pricing:

Free tools: $0, up to 30 landing pages with HubSpot branding
Content Hub Starter: $20/month per seat (HubSpot is currently offering a lower introductory price to new customers): 30 landing pages, HubSpot branding removed
Content Hub Professional: $450/month on an annual commitment, or $500/month monthly, with 3 core seats: A/B testing, adaptive testing, smart content
Content Hub Enterprise: $1,500/month, billed annually

8. Webflow

Webflow website builder homepage

Webflow is a hosted website builder with detailed design control. It’s a good fit if your landing pages need to sit inside a custom-designed website with a CMS.

Webflow Key Features

Visual website builder with full design control
CMS for blogs and dynamic content on the Premium plan
Webflow Optimize add-on for A/B testing and personalisation
Hosting included, with bandwidth limits by plan

Webflow Strengths

Design freedom: pixel-level control without writing code.
Full website, not just landing pages: marketing site, blog, and campaign pages in one place.
Low starting price: a free Starter plan, then Basic from $15/month billed annually.

Webflow Limitations

Testing is a costly add-on: Webflow Optimize starts at $299/month billed annually for 25,000 page views.
More to learn: Webflow’s design controls take longer to master than a template-led landing page builder.
Not built for selling funnels: there are no upsell funnels or course tools, and pages are hosted on Webflow.

Webflow Pricing

Webflow site plans: Starter free, Basic $15 and Premium $25 per month billed yearly

From Webflow’s pricing page:

Starter: free, 2 pages on a webflow.io domain
Basic: $25/month, or $15/month billed annually: 300 static pages, 10 GB bandwidth
Premium: $39/month, or $25/month billed annually: CMS with 20,000 items, 50 GB bandwidth
Webflow Optimize add-on: from $379/month, or $299/month billed annually, at 25,000 page views

Other Instapage Competitors Worth Knowing

A few more tools come up when people research Instapage competitors. They’re narrower in scope, but one of them may suit a specific need:

  • Perspective: a builder for mobile-first, swipeable funnels. Plans start at $59/month, or $47/month billed annually, with A/B testing from the Grow plan or as an add-on.
  • Heyflow: interactive, multi-step form funnels for lead qualification. Pricing is shown in euros, with A/B testing on the Scale plan.
  • Carrd: very low-cost one-page sites. There’s a free plan, and Pro Standard costs $19 a year for 10 sites with custom domains and forms. There’s no A/B testing.
  • Systeme.io: a hosted all-in-one platform with a free plan (2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, and A/B tests), then paid plans from $17/month.
  • Zoho LandingPage: a free plan for 5,000 visitors and 5 pages, then Professional from $18/month billed annually, with A/B testing, dynamic text replacement, and heatmaps.
  • WordPress page builders: Elementor (Pro from $60/year) and Thrive Architect ($99 for the first year, then $199/year) build landing pages on WordPress, but neither is built around visual sales funnels with checkouts and one-click upsells. See our Elementor alternatives guide for more WordPress options.

Instapage vs OptimizePress: Key Differences

Instapage and OptimizePress both build landing pages, but they’re designed for different jobs. Instapage is a hosted platform for optimising paid advertising campaigns.

OptimizePress adds landing pages, funnels, checkouts, and courses to your WordPress site, so your pages can capture leads and take payments in one place.

What the Cost Difference Looks Like

Take a coach running paid ads to a webinar funnel. Their pages get around 40,000 unique visitors a month, and they want to split test their registration page.

On Instapage, 40,000 visitors is above the standard Optimize limit of 30,000, so they’d need the expanded Optimize plan at $2,868 a year on annual billing. They’d still need a separate tool to sell the programme after the webinar.

On OptimizePress, the Scale plan at $199 a year covers the registration page, the funnel, split testing, the checkout with an order bump, and the course itself.

They’d also pay for WordPress hosting and an email marketing service, so the fair comparison is Instapage plus a checkout tool against OptimizePress plus those two services.

For most businesses that combined total is still well below Instapage, and it doesn’t change when the next campaign doubles their traffic. It’s still worth pricing your own setup before you decide.

When Instapage Still Makes Sense

Instapage remains a strong choice in a few situations:

You manage large paid advertising accounts and need AdMap and ad-to-page personalisation across hundreds of ads.
You’re a large marketing team that needs enterprise SSO, audit logs, and a dedicated customer success manager.
You have no interest in WordPress and only need landing pages, not checkouts or courses.

If your landing pages lead to a sale, a course, or a service, and you’d rather pay a flat fee than a visitor-based subscription, OptimizePress is the more practical fit. You can read more in our Instapage vs OptimizePress comparison.

Why OptimizePress Stands Out for WordPress Users

For many people searching for an Instapage alternative, the real question isn’t “Which tool has the most testing features?” It’s “Why am I paying a premium, visitor-based subscription for pages that sit outside my website?”

That’s where OptimizePress takes a different approach. Instead of hosting your landing pages on a separate platform, it builds them inside WordPress.

Your website, blog, landing pages, funnels, checkouts, and courses stay together on your own domain, sharing one design, one analytics setup, and one SEO foundation.

Instapage does offer a WordPress plugin, but it only displays pages that are still built, hosted, and billed in Instapage. With OptimizePress, the pages are part of your WordPress site.

Your bill doesn’t rise when a campaign succeeds, either. A page that gets 5,000 visitors and a page that gets 500,000 cost the same to run on OptimizePress, apart from your hosting.

And because OptimizePress includes checkouts, upsells, and course delivery, the page that captures a lead can also take the payment and deliver the product.

For businesses already using WordPress, or anyone who wants more control over their website and marketing stack, that makes OptimizePress a practical Instapage replacement rather than a move from one rented platform to another.

You can see everything OptimizePress includes on our features page.

How to Switch From Instapage Without Losing Momentum

Moving landing pages means rebuilding them, so plan the switch around your live campaigns. This order keeps leads coming in while you move:

  1. List your live pages and campaigns. Note each page’s URL, the ads or emails that point to it, its monthly traffic, and its conversion rate. This becomes your checklist and your benchmark.
  2. Check where your leads go. Confirm each form sends leads to your email platform or CRM through an integration. If you’ve started using Instapage’s built-in contacts, export them before you cancel.
  3. Rebuild your best-performing page first. Start with the page that brings in the most leads or sales. With OptimizePress, landing page templates give you a starting layout to adapt.
  4. Recreate your tracking. Add your analytics, ad pixels, and conversion events to the new pages, and test that each one fires.
  5. Connect payments if you’re adding them. If you’re moving to a platform with checkouts, set up your products, order bumps, and upsells, then make a test purchase.
  6. Run a short test, then switch your ads. Send a small share of traffic to the new page, compare it with your benchmark, then update the destination URLs in your ad accounts.
  7. Keep Instapage active until the new pages are proven. A cancelled Instapage account can’t publish pages, so wait until every live campaign points to its new page before you cancel, and check your renewal date.

Choosing Your Instapage Alternative

Instapage is a powerful tool for paid advertising teams, but its visitor-based pricing and focus on landing pages mean it won’t suit every business. Before choosing an alternative, consider:

Pricing: Check the cost at your current traffic level and how that cost changes as your traffic grows.
Features: Look at the landing page, testing, funnel, checkout, and selling features you actually need.
Traffic limits: Check whether visitor limits or usage caps could affect your costs as your campaigns grow.
Website ownership: Consider whether you want a hosted platform or prefer to build and manage everything on your own website.
Integrations: Make sure the platform works with the tools you already use for analytics, email marketing, payments, and CRM.

Start by listing the features you use most and your average monthly traffic. Then compare what each platform would cost at your current level—and as your traffic grows.

Instapage Alternatives FAQ

What is the best Instapage alternative?

It depends on what your pages need to do. For WordPress users who want landing pages, funnels, checkouts, and courses on their own site, OptimizePress is the strongest fit.

How much does Instapage cost per month?

Instapage Create costs $99/month, or $79/month billed annually, for 15,000 unique visitors. Optimize costs $199/month, or $159/month billed annually, for 30,000 visitors, rising to $299/month ($239 billed annually) for 50,000 visitors. Convert has custom pricing.

Does Instapage have a free plan or free trial?

Instapage doesn’t have a free plan. It offers a 14-day free trial on Create and Optimize, but you’ll need a credit card, and the trial is capped at 2,500 unique visitors. If you reach the cap, the trial ends and the paid plan starts.

Is Leadpages worth the money?

Leadpages is good value if you want simple hosted pages and don’t want visitor limits, because every plan includes unlimited traffic. A/B testing starts on the Grow plan at $79/month billed annually. If you need funnels, checkouts with upsells, and courses on your own website, OptimizePress covers more for a lower annual price.

Can I use Instapage with WordPress?

Yes. Instapage has a WordPress plugin that displays Instapage pages on a self-hosted WordPress site. The pages are still built, hosted, and billed in Instapage. If you want landing pages that are part of your WordPress site, a WordPress-based tool such as OptimizePress builds them directly in WordPress.

Can ChatGPT build a landing page?

AI tools such as ChatGPT can draft headlines, page copy, and even basic HTML. You still need somewhere to build and host the page, forms connected to your email platform, tracking, and testing. Most landing page tools now include AI copy features, but the strategy, offer, and testing are still up to you.

Can I move my pages from Instapage to another platform?

Plan to rebuild them. List your live pages, check where your leads go, and rebuild your best-performing page first. Recreate your tracking, test the new page with a small share of traffic, update your ad destination URLs, and keep Instapage active until every campaign has moved.
