OptimizeUrgency is an exclusive plugin that will allow you to place alert notifications inside your blog posts and pages to inform your customers of the latest news and purchases made by other customers.
We will go into the benefits of why this is so powerful in the next article, but we’ll give you a hint – Supply and demand in business is everything and increases the value of your products and services.
Here’s what a typical OptimizeUrgency alert notification looks like:
As a company, we understand that most of our readers will not be technically or creatively savvy. Just like all of our core software, our goal is to provide a simple solution to help you get up and running quickly whilst taking away all of the headaches of setting it all up.
In the next section, we’ll walk you through how to get started with the plugin and show you how simple it is to get set up.
Woocommerce Alert: OptimizeUrgency integrates with Woocommerce, which will alert visitors of a live sale being made with the software.
Please Note: You must have Woocommerce installed and activated in order for this selection to be active.
Pre-Loaded Alert: With this selection, you will be able to manually enter details from your sales and subscribers to be shown automatically by the plugin.
Feature Alert: You will be able to alert your visitors to new content or external offers.
Please Note: The options for configuring the design and content of the alert will only be activated in order once you have initially configured the display settings.
Display on Desktop: Select whether you would like the alerts to appear on a desktop computer.
Display on Mobile: Select whether you would like alerts to appear on a mobile device.
Alert position: Select where you would like the alerts to be positioned on your post/pages.
Time to First Alert: Set the time (in seconds) when you would like the first alert to be displayed.
Alert Duration: Set the time each alert remains on screen.
Event Threshold: Display only content within a time threshold (in days).
Show Alerts On: Select which posts/pages you would like the alerts to be displayed.
Importance: Set the priority of the alert box over other alerts.
Show Close Button: Display the close button on the alert.
Show Time Ago: Show the time since the event.
Loop Alert: Display the alerts as a loop or once per page view.
Alert Design: You will be able to select from 2 designs.
Alert Content: Select whether you would like an ‘icon’ to be displayed or the ‘map’ of the purchaser’s location.
Select Alert Icon: Select an icon you would like to use from a list of icons from the drop-down.
Icon Background Colour: Set the colour of the icon you’ve selected.
Alert Box Line 1: Set the first line of your alert box using the following variables – {name}, {location}, {product_name}. By default, this is set to ‘{name} from {location}.’
Alert Box Line 2: Set the second line of your alert box using the same above variables.
Your alert box is not fully activated and will begin appearing on your website.
