There are 93 days left until the end of this year. At our current rate of publishing new features inside OptimizePress, you'll possibly see another five big feature updates before the year is over and also lots of more minor feature upgrades.

In this post, we're going to cover what we released through August and September.

To start this post, we feel our PayPal integration should be announced first. It was a massive update to the platform for both of us on the development side but, more importantly, YOU!

So many countries and users still don't have much choice of payment gateways for selling products online, and PayPal is still their primary payment processor.

This update was a breath of fresh air for you if you can't use Stripe and for those who have and always will use PayPal.

Since the launch of OptimizeCheckouts, our WordPress shopping cart, you’ve been asking when we will add PayPal integration.

It makes sense for us to add PayPal. As of 2021 PayPal reportedly has over 400,000,000 users!

Adding PayPal payments to OptimizePress took considerable development because we wanted to bring you all the advanced sales features you need in your business to make maximum profits.

That includes:

There are over 200 countries that support PayPal, so this big update means even more people can now buy your products from you using PayPal. That means more potential customers. 

Adding PayPal to OptimizePress gives you more functionality and means you need fewer external tools, keeping your sites simple to manage. 

Go and read the full update here and then you can delete another unnecessary plugin from your WordPress site and use OptimizePress.

The next significant update (which we rolled out only last week) was our social proof alerts to show verified buyers of your products.

If you don't know already, adding urgency and social proof to your marketing strategy can boost your conversion rates, which means more sales.  

This new integration is for OptimizeUrgency and OptimizeCheckouts (both included in our $199 Suite plan). Any sales you make through OptimizeCheckouts can now be shown in subtle alert boxes for sales you just made.

The alert shows who purchased what product, when they purchased it and where they are located. 

You can customise what is shown in the alert box using different variables and text with the ability to even exclude certain products.

That's not all. You can create as many different alert boxes as you like, and each new alert box can be configured to show on any post, page and even OptimizeFunnels funnel pages.

OK, now it's time to get slightly technical but sit tight. You'll want to see this as it's a powerful speed feature.

We created a way to Delay Javascript Execution.

I know what you're thinking. I'll try to put this into simple terms for you.

In June, we rolled out our new WordPress page speed feature that aligns your site with Google Core Web Vitals and makes your pages faster than Road Runner from Wile E Coyote cartoon - Meep Meep.

Anyway, in that update, we had to build a way for OptimizePress to delay how JavaScript loads on your site.

Loading too many JavaScript files on your web pages feels like asking a sloth to fetch you a drink after running 5K.

This update takes all your JavaScript, stops it from loading, lets the page content load, and waits for the user to interact with your page and then loads the JavaScript. Phew! That's a long sentence.

This delay in JavaScript loading means the content on your pages loads super quick, and in the eyes of Google, you're doing what they want.

This seemingly simple but technically advanced feature can boost your page speed score and be configured sitewide or individually on each page.

We're expanding this powerful template sharing functionality to allow you to share complete funnels.  This feature is ultra powerful if you work with clients or customers who have their own OptimizePress accounts.  This new feature will let you share your complete funnels so they can instantly be used inside another OptimizePress site (as long as OptimizeFunnels is installed and active).

With a few clicks you can export your complete funnel including all page designs and the full funnel connected in our funnel building platform ready editing.

We're working hard to release this feature in Q4 2021 and we'll share more about this as soon as it's live.
