Hi Jon. Thanks for your comment. We will include an order bump feature in OptimizeCheckouts – but this will come after launch and won’t be in the initial release version. We want to focus on releasing one core feature at a time to ensure stability of the platform.

Regarding physical product selling, while we recognise this is a popular business model, we’ve found the majority of our community are focused on digital products and services, so our focus (at least initially) will be on supporting the needs of sellers in this category. We may release better physical product support later but this brings with it additional challenges in terms of different tax requirements and other shipping complexities.

I believe that ThriveCart does have a Ship Station direct integration already – so that might be worth a look if you’re looking for a more immediate solution. You can still use embeddable checkout forms from ThriveCart on your OptimizePress pages.

I think it’s important to identify one key difference right away between OP and CF or similar solutions. OptimizePress runs on your own hosting and servers, which means you maintain control. You are not held hostage by visitor or optin limits, and you maintain complete privacy about your revenue and site stats. You also can control your site optimization, and test new strategies and tools as you wish without being shackled by a “closed” system.

In terms of payment processors and CRMs – We already integrate with most of the major CRMs and email marketing services for opt-in forms within OptimizePress (and OptimizeFunnels). In terms of our upcoming Checkouts solution, you will be able to add buyer information to your chosen CRM or external service with our direct integrations (so you can send buyer information and add tags or add buyers to a list in your external system).

In terms of payment processors, we’re launching with Stripe and will expand to other solutions later. Our aim is not to become a fully fledged cart/checkout solution – that’s beyond the scope of this solution and there are many options out there for advanced marketers who have more indepth or specific requirements. Our aim with OptimizeCheckouts to provide a simple solution which integrates well with the rest of our product suite for taking payments for digital products and services.

We will expand our feature set to some degree depending on user feedback and requests, but we will still recommend other solutions like ThriveCart for marketers that need a more indepth solution. We’ll most likely also be developing deeper integrations with solutions like ThriveCart for those users already on those platforms so they can benefit from using the rest of our tools suite with their existing cart.
