      awesomeness! i think this is the first “web 3.0 look” template that OptimizePress is giving away it for FREE. love the idea you guys offer not 1, not 2, not 3, BUT 4 different variations!!! i’m pretty sure OP 2.0 fans will find this handy.

      • James Dyson

        Thanks KM Lee – we appreciate you being part of the marketplace too!

        • KM Lee

          eagerly waiting for the official marketplace launch.

    • Dean Phillips

      This is awesome guys! I’ll definitely be using this myself (was about to create this myself and you’ve made it easier ha)

      • James Dyson

        Awesome Dean – I’m pleased we could save you some time creating your own – that is what it’s all about

        • Dean Phillips

          I was going to create this for the Marketplace but not only did you beat me to it, but you gave it away for free! Great stuff James

          • KM Lee

            @dean_phillips:disqus i’ve submitted a similar template not too long ago (box on the left). looks like it won’t be listed in the marketplace because the overall layout is similar.

            on the other hand, i do think this bundle looks much better (plus the 4 variations rocks!) than mine. he he

    • Lulu

      Awesome!

      • James Dyson

        Thanks Lulu! We look forward to hearing how you use these

    • Rachel Mathews

      Wonderful, they will look amazing! Thank you for adding them :o)

      • James Dyson

        You’re welcome Rachel – we hope you make great use of these

    • Kadena Tate

      This is a fantastic template. Thank you so much!

      • James Dyson

        Thanks Kadena – we look forward to hearing how you use it in your business

    • Jim Rives

      Excellent but need to change the background image for my industry…how can I change.

      • KM Lee

        In your LiveEditor, go to: Colour Scheme Settings >> Page Colour Settings.

        Under Overall Page Colour Options, click Remove Image then upload a background image you wish to use.

        • Fabio Marques

          Don´t Work for me…

          • KM Lee

            @disqus_cnNZdi9fyB:disqus I don’t have issue loading the templates on my end.

            are you using the latest OP 2.0? have you successfully uploaded any templates (that has a background image) previously? just contact the support team and let them examine your site.

    • Rodrigo Silva

      I loved it. Can I change the background color from the box?

      • James Dyson

        Hi Rodrigo. Yes you can change that. You will need to go to Page Settings > Other Scripts > Custom CSS and look for the line which mentions:

        background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.8);

        Now you will need to then convert your colour value into RGBA values using a tool like this: http://hex2rgba.devoth.com/

        Please note you can change the 0.8 to whatever you want for the opacity (0 being transparent – 1 being a solid colour

        I hope that helps!

    • Oleg Goyenko

      would love to see a template which allows you to list your products and what prospect will get after watching VSL

      • James Dyson

        Hi Oleg. Do you mean have a delay on the content until after the VSL has finished? We do have a delay feature in the advanced options of each element you can use to delay individual blocks on your page. This doesn’t specifically link to the timer on the VSL but you can set it to the right point – just bear mind if someone skips forward in your video it will not affect the timer

        If you meant something else please let me know what you had in mind – you can always submit template requests here https://www.optimizepress.com/feature-request/

      Blog Template Please!!!!

      • James Dyson

        We are working on a few new blog themes which will be available in our marketplace not too long after it is launched – so please lookout for these coming soon

    • Jesus S.

      BLOOOG TEMPLATES GUYSSS, C’MON ( or at least make them more editable or customizable.

      • James Dyson

        Jesus – we’re actually working on two new blog themes which will be available in the marketplace when they are ready.

        • jghull

          Good stuff – the blog templates are what stop me using OP more than I do. *thumbs up*

        • Jeffsauer

          Can you provide an ETA update on the blog themes? Would really really like to see these soon.

        • Bruce Muzik

          Any updates on the blog theme templates, James?

        • Cebu Tours

          so where is it now? 4 months to design blog templates, or you just keep on promising things?

      • Nathan Cornella

        Would highly appreciate to see more flexibility on the blog template too. I love this new template though. Great work!

      • Jason Dodd

        I know this is an old thread but wanted to chime in here. I think we have enough landing pages, sales pages and webinar registration pages to keep us going for a while. Would love to see the OptimizePress crew focus on the blog templates. Pretty please! Either that, or a tutorial on how we can make and deploy our own in a way that they don’t get wiped out each time we apply an update.

    • Greg Writer

      Thanks for the new templates! Keep them coming!

    • Sophia | Mystic | Scribe

      This is briliiant! Thank you so much.

      • James Dyson

        Thanks Sophia your feedback is really appreciated

    • Sirius Traffic

      I don’t see anything new here other than the backgrounds.

      • James Dyson

        Sirius – these templates are completely new. We do have some similar templates in the platform but these are newly designed with different versions for the alignment of the box, transparency added and other tweaks to bring this in line with web 3.0 design

    • Clint Paddison

      Great stuff James. Great to meet you at SFB in Manly too :-)

      • James Dyson

        Thanks Clint – was great to meet you too. I’m still considering whether to make the trip again next March :)

    • Guest

      Hmm..this doesn’t seem to be working for me. When I uploaded the background image it is looking like it’s in tiles instead of one big image?

      • James Dyson

        Can you try updating your OptimizePress to the latest version please – you should be using 2.2.3.1 which is the latest version at time of writing

    • Devani Freeman

      I uploaded the Backdrop Box Right. There isn’t a landing page background option to change the background? Also it’s in tiles and not showing just one big image for the background. Please help!

    • Frank Versace

      Sweet template! Would be great to be able to adjust the color and transparency of layover elements. As well as being able to add a video background vs just image background. (You have a competing software plugin that already offers this). Allows you to build some really custom engaging capture pages.

      • James Dyson

        Thanks for your feedback Frank. We do have an add-on coming for OptimizePress very soon which will allow video backgrounds (this will be available in the OptimizePress Marketplace soon after launch).

        For adjusting the colour and transparent of the boxes – here are a few steps:

        You will need to go to Page Settings > Other Scripts > Custom CSS and look for the line which mentions:

        background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.8); (this is for the dark box section)

        background:rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.8); (this is for the light section)

        Now you will need to then convert your colour value you want to use into RGBA values using a tool like this: http://hex2rgba.devoth.com/

        Please note you can change the 0.8 to whatever you want for the opacity (0 being transparent – 1 being a solid colour

        I hope that helps!

        • Kevin Yong

          Thanks James. worked nicely.

    • Humberto "Yuki" Nakamura

      one thing that would improve the visitor experience would be a optin form instead of a overlayoptimizer in the box. It needs two clicks to access the content. I couldn`t change it. The template do not allows… please comment. Tks

      • KM Lee

        @disqus_Yuki_Nakamura:disqus I believe this template is specially customized for 2-step opt-in (which is a trend now for landing pages). if you just want a normal 1-step opt-in form, you don’t need this template.

        what you can do is — using the same column layout, insert a feature box first and then add the opt-in box element within the feature box.

        hope that helps.

      • James Dyson

        As KM Lee advised – we’ve found the 2-step optin process actually can improve response from your visitors. This is because often when people land on your page and see an opt-in form they immediately know that that is the objective of the page

        If you have the right copy and just have the button there (which triggers the opt-in) this means when someone clicks the button they have already made a “micro-commitment” to take action on this page and normally will complete the action by opt-ing in.

      • Maria Marsala

        It goes against all we’ve been taught (give them the template form on every page so that they register). But James is right. I’ve seen more and more articles about the two step process working better.
        In these days… it makes a website “seem” less salesy… when they first view it and allows them to read the information and then decide to click or not.
        Gives folks a bit more power, which they seem to like.

    • Humberto "Yuki" Nakamura

      there was an error to use the optin box. The only way I could make it was inserting the optin box first, then delete the overlayoptmizer. tks

      • James Dyson

        Hi Humberto

        I’m not sure if you watched our video above, but in it we explain that this template uses our OverlayOptimizer feature which provides a 2-step opti-in process which we have found can dramatically increase conversions.

        If you look around the web you’ll also find many other case studies showing this – so I would encourage you to test this on your own site

    • Kay Richardson

      How do I download them

      • James Dyson

        Hi Kay

        You can find the new downloads inside the OptimizePress members hub – the video above explains the whole process :)

    • Kylee B.

      Hi, is there any way that I can change the size of the box on the landing page. I want to make it a little more narrow.

      • James Dyson

        Kylee – the width of the box is set by the width of the column that it is in. You can modify this with custom CSS but just take care to ensure it does not affect other parts of your page.

        You can modify the code by using this custom CSS (in the Page Settings > Other Scripts > Custom CSS)

        .container .three-fifths.column {

        width:556px}

        Change the 556px for the value to whatever value you want to use.

        • Kylee B.

          Thanks. It makes sense except the code is different from what you describe. What should I change in this part of the code?

          .pad1{padding-left:40px;padding-right:40px;}

          @media only screen and (max-width: 959px) and (min-width:
          768px){

          .container .three-fifths.column {

          width:100%;

          }

          .container .two-fifths.column {

          width:100%

          }

          }

          div .two-fifths:not(:first-child){margin-top:0px !important;
          margin-bottom:0px !important;}

          @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {

          .top1{

          padding-top:30px !important;

          }}

          @media only screen and (max-width: 479px) {

          .pad1 h2{font-size:20px !important;}

          .text2 h2{font-size:16px !important;}

          .top1{padding-top:15px !important;}

          .top1 .three-fifths{padding-top:20px;padding-bottom:0px;}

          }

        • Kylee B.

          Thanks, I got it figured. Looks great!

    • Keala Kanae

      Downloaded and installed and not even one of the templates is working. I’ve uploaded templates before from the Optimizehub without any issue. Is this a known problem??

      • James Dyson

        Keala

        We have had a few people say the templates didn’t work on older versions, so do ensure that you are using the latest versions. If you’re still having problems please drop our support team and email and we’ll be happy to help

    • Werner

      I can`t see the background image, even when I try to change it. I only see white page with Optin box. What I am doing wrong?

      • James Dyson

        Werner I’m sorry to hear of your issues. If you have updated your site but still cannot see the background image, please send us an email to support [at] optimizepress . zendesk.com and we’ll take a look. Ensure you include your site URL and administrator logins so we can investigate

    • Ronan Fernandes

      I´ve just stopped updating OP 2… Whenever i try to update to v. 2.2.3.1 it breaks my blog (i use it as a theme), it becomes very slow AND the sidebar optin form just totally breaks…

      • James Dyson

        Hi Ronan – I’m sorry to hear of your issues. Our support team would be happy to help troubleshoot this issue for you if you send an email to them with your site logins and an explanation of the issue

    • Jutta Dobler

      Hi guys
      thanks so much for the new templates, they are beautiful!
      I did do everything you said to do in the video, but it doesn’t work (i have also upgraded to newest version of Optimize press). I cannot see the background pic in the page builder, it is just white.
      Any suggestions would be appreciated
      Thanks
      Jutta

        • Fabio Marques

          Background image don´t work!

    • Kevin Yong

      These look great. thanks.

      I like the right feature box with transparent white for logo and transparent black for copy text. Is there a way to move these to the left side? or change the look of the left sided template?

      • James Dyson

        Hi Kevin. Sure you can do this with a couple of small CSS modifications.

        To save you time – I have created a customized version of this now and added it to the Extra Downloads page at the bottom of the list

    • James Dyson

      Hey JP. This feature actually originated on an OptimizePress page. You can add one of our progress bars to your OverlayOptimizer element to give the same design. I believe that Ryan Diess’s team started using this first with their OptimizePress account and that’s where the idea came from.

    • Fabio Marques

      Background image don´t work… HELP!

    • Bart Nash

      OP2.0 could be great but there is absolutely no support. I see all you’re replies below about contacting support but that’s a joke. You also charge 17 dollars a month to join a forum that absolutely no one answers any questions. I have to move on and find another theme.

    • Guest

      HI Guys, I try many time to install this fantastic template but does’t work. After the click to install now, the system tell me that template is successfully installed but I cannot find the template. Please help me. Thanks!

      • James Dyson

        Hi. We have heard of this issue sometimes and it is due to a permissions error with your hosting. The “working” folder under “lib/content_layouts/working” should be set to “777” for file permissions. Once the template(s) successfully install, then this folder can be set back to the previous file permissions setting.

    • Fabio

      Hi guys, I tried many times to install this beautiful template but doesn’t work. When I click to install now the system tell me that the template is successfully installed but I cannot see it in my template list. I follow all the steps showed in the James’s video but the result is different. Can someone help me? Thanks.

      • James Dyson

        Hi Fabio We have heard of this issue sometimes and it is due to a permissions error with your hosting. The “working” folder under “lib/content_layouts/working” should be set to “777” for file permissions. Once the template(s) successfully install, then this folder can be set back to the previous file permissions setting.

        • Fabio

          Hi James, We tried to change permission from 755 to 777 but the result is the same. We are trying to find new ways but we cannot understand what is the problem.

    • David

      Very nice! I think OptimizePress has nailed it in terms of becoming an all round solution for marketing type sites and even small business sites.

    • Pat Mitsuing

      overlay optimizer on blog posts pleassee

      • David

        Hey Pat, you can add the overlay to blog posts but it does takes a little hacking around. Firstly create the a minimal page with only the overlay on it, view source code then copy the code into the blog post or sidebar.

        Let me know if a tutorial would help and I’ll post it on my blog.

        • KM Lee

          @David_Frosdick:disqus: didn’t know that. thank you for your tip!

          • David Frosdick

            No worries – I’ve made a video tutorial showing how I use it on a non OP blog – I’ll post it here in bit.

        • Pat Mitsuing

          Ya I tried that but it didn’t seem to work for me. A video would be awesome

    • Shelly Wallace

      Thanks so very much for the New Templates.

    • Shelly Wallace

      I am having problems logging into Optimize Press will someone help me with this.

    • Coach Vincent

      Hello ! Where is the marketplace please ?

      • James Dyson

        Vincent – lookout for an announcement this week about this…

    • James Dyson

      Todd – to change the image go to your Colour Scheme Settings > Page Colour Settings and then choose a different background image there

    • James Dyson

      Great point Don – at the moment this is for static images but we do have some developments coming in this area in the not-too-distant future

    • Caroline

      love the templates! but I cannot see the background pic in the page builder, it is just white. I have send you an email… the box also seems larger than it should be.

    • Guest

      how do u change the background image?

    • Isaiah Jackson

      Absolutely loving the new template right now. Was wondering how I could use the Overlay Optimizer a little bit more, and then you guys put out this. Perfect timing.

      Made a new funnel using it already :)

      Thanks guys.

    • Alan Skyy

      This is much better, I was actually trying to use OP to create a similar layout before this template came out, I failed miserably, however I would like to see more versatility with this layout. For example, the ability to add two call to action buttons in the box with color differences. If I were creating a marketplace page for goods I would like to add two buttons, one for buyers and one for sellers and I’m not seeing that.

    • CO

      Thank you for this! You mention that this two step opt in process has a higher conversion rate…do you mean a higher conversion rate than a one step process where email address/name is initially present? In the video, I didn’t see integration type for MailChimp in the drop down. Is Mailchimp a possibility?

    • Thierry

      How to change the button “download the guide”?

      • Kenny Couling

        Also Need help with this. I can change the text on the button of the 2nd step on the pop up form but not the first download the guide button

        • KM Lee

          @disqus_ESZsKU2YzI:disqus and @kennycouling:disqus: this is KM here. just wanna lend a hand. if you hover over the OverlayOptimizer element, you will see a ‘Window Icon’ next to the ‘Pencil Icon’. Click on the Window Icon and you will be able to edit the “download the guide” text.

          Hope that helps.

          • Kenny Couling

            thanks found it

    • john cao

      How do I move the box more to the right with the BACKDROP BoxRight template?

    • Chris Atkinson

      Great new modern looking templates.. Am using one now…thank you.. Chris ps I too am also looking forward to the new modern Blog Templates you are working on (nearly switched blog themes with a optimise press competitor business but decided to keep using your blog theme when I read here that you are bringing out some new blog themes. any rough estimates of when these new blog themes may be available here?.. Appreciate the great work you guys do..

    • Isaiah Jackson

      I’m currently using one of the templates you guys provided and the opt-in rate is INSANE.

      I’m talking like 75% opt-in rate. Easy.

      Thanks for the template guys.

      -Isaiah Jackson.

    • Reginald Stinson

      how to change background image

    • Heidi Huebner

    • stevebdlt

      The background image (added thru the color settings area) doesn’t show on mobile for me. Does anyone else have this issue/solution?
