In reply to Roman. Roman, there isn't a way to roll this back - but your existing images are untouched. So if you have any problems you can turn off the image optimization settings and your original images will be used.

This Optimization update is very welcome. Thanks a lot. After reviewing your instructions I tested them today. The best result I got were these: 59 on mobile and 91 on desktop. On every page I use background images. In addition, I have Cloudflare in use.

Hey Roger, we don’t yet have these same features available to the SmartTheme.

Regarding your other questions. If LiteSpeed is a plugin for image optimisation, then you yes, you could remove that and use OptimizePress.

If the LiteSpeed cache is a server setting just for caching I would use one or the other. Don’t use both. Maybe leave all the JavaScript and CSS settings off in OP and let LiteSpeed cache those on the server.

I don’t know the exact setup but my first step would be to check the speed score as it is now. Then turn off all LiteSpeed caching and turn on the OP caching settings and see which give the best result.

Remember you will have to keep clearing these caches between all the testing.
