Frequently Asked Questions
In this section you will find a range of commonly asked questions and answers:
There are a number of reasons the header is not showing on your page. Please check the following:
- Check you have successfully uploaded a header to your OptimizePress General Settings dashboard. If you are using a membership template, you need to upload a header in the “Membership Options” OptimizePress admin page. If you are using a blog you need to upload a header in the “Blog Options” admin page
- Check you have set the height of your header in the admin dashboard (in a box just below the upload boxes)
- Check you have ticked “show header” on the On-Page Sales Page customization options panel.
- Ensure you are using a template that supports a header. This is Style 1 & 2 sales style templates. Note that style 3 templates support logo only, and squeeze pages only support a header on the templates which specify they do with (header) in the name
You can find your RSS feed for your blog posts in OptimizePress at
yourdomain.com/feed (provided that your site is located at the main root domain).
Please note that WordPress only creates an RSS feed for your main blog post content, it does not create a feed for page content
OptimizePress uses a special font replacement system for some of the headlines in the templates included in the package. You can choose from a range of fonts which will be smoothly rendered to your page and look better than standard HTML headlines.
Because of this special font replacement system (called “cufon”)
No. As OptimizePress is a WordPress theme, you cant use 2 themes on one WordPress site. We recommend as above that you create a separate installation of WordPress for your sales site and install OptimizePress there. This also ensures that you can send traffic to a separate site for your sales letters, squeeze pages etc, which has always resulted in higher conversions in our tests
You need to add the code for Google Analytics to the footer tracking box inside the OptimizePress General settings box. To to find this, go to Dashboard, then click OptimizePress on the left menu, and go to general settings tab. Scroll down and add the code to the footer tracking code box.
To change the copyright text on your pages, go to the WordPress Dashboard. Click on OptimizePress on the left menu (at the bottom) and then click on the General Settings tab. If you scroll down you will see a box where you can add your copyright message
Note that if you are seeing 2010 in any of your footers, you need to update to the latest version of OptimizePress
We recommend checking your browser settings, clearing your cache, and restarting your browser (or try a different browser)
Normally these issues are caused by a local issue on your computer or with your ISP and can be fixed by the above changes
Your header for any OptimizePress page needs to be 977pixels wide. First I recommend you ensure your header is this size. If you are still having problems, I recommend watching this video which will guide you through the process of setting up your logos and headers:
We have the Buttons/Graphics in Danish,French,German,Italian, Spanish and Swedish. You can download these from the members area www.optimizepress.com/members.
We may periodicaly create new foreign language graphics packs to cover new languages. If you would like us to cover your language please submit a ticket at the helpdesk to register your interest (Note we will require you to provide translations to the list of phrases used on our graphics.
The OptimizePress license is specifically designed for use on your own sites and domains only. All sites must be owned and operated by you.
Use on client sites is not permitted. We do not offer a developer license for OptimizePress, but do have an arrangement for those of you who wish to build sites for clients, please see more information on the following thread:
We are no longer selling the developer licenses for OptimizePress. Instead we have a new system in place which we are finding works better for our customers who want to develop sites for clients, or help clients get setup with OptimizePress. Basically if you hold an existing license, you can purchase additional licenses for your clients sites for $52 which is the ex-affiliate price.
Alternatively, you can have your clients purchase their license through your own affiliate link, but obviously you then have to wait 30 days for the payout to get the $45 back – so this discount works better for most people
This means that your client gets their own logins for licensing any sites they have (so if you have a client who wants multiple sites, you can use their license for all their sites – as long as it’s the same client). It also means they get logins to our training site, so if they need to check any of the support materials whenever they need them.
If you would like to purchase any licenses, you can submit a payment of $52 per license to paypal to sales @ businessjolt.com and then submit a ticket at the helpdesk with the transaction details and our team will setup the licenses for you. In the ticket you also need to specify the first name, last name and email address to be assigned to the new account (we can set it up in your customers name but also forward you the login details if you’d like us to do this).
Its important to note this is in no-way designed to become a reseller arrangement, and is strictly for developing client sites and not to allow anyone to become a reseller for the theme. If you want to refer other people to the theme the best way to do this is still via the affiliate program.
Sometimes the template gallery link will take you to a different page due to a bug in WordPress or a browser glitch.
We advise doing the following:
1) Try a different browser if possible OR
2) clear your browser cookies, cache and temporary internet files and then restart your browser and reload the site
That should fix the issue. We have heard of this issue occuring occasionally, and normally the steps above work fine.
To set your homepage in WordPress, follow these steps:
1) Create your page and publish it
2) Go To Settings > Reading, in the wordpress admin menu on the left sidebar
3) Look for the “front page displays” section and select “A Static page” radio button
4) Use the dropdown for the front page to set the page you created.
OptimizePress is not designed to work with WordPress MU or Multi-Site networks.
This is because the way these networks are setup breaches the terms of our license. We recommend that you setup a stand-alone installation on your domain for any sites you want to use OptimizePress with and you should have no problems.
This issue is normally because your installation of optimizepress did not complete correctly or your host has some special settings which are stopping the permissions for the system which wants to upload images.
You need to check in your OptimizePress/images folder that you have a folder called “uploads”
Inside this folder you should find 3 folders called
lncthumb
normal
thumbs
and these all need to be set to have 777 permissions
Tags: squeeze button select,
If you are using the launch thumbnail sidebar and you find that all your thumbnails link to the current page you are viewing and not the pages they should link to then this article will help you.
This problem is caused by a glitch in the system – if you are using the perpetual launch system without the gateway turned on. If you do not wish to use the gateway system (i.e. you want your pages to all be viewable at once), you will need to switch your launch type to “One-off/Timed” and ensure that all your pages are set to be live at the current time.
If not, you will find that once you activate the gateway system the sidebar thumbnails will work for both One-off/Timed and Perpetual/Evengreen Launch types.
This issue is most likely caused because you have your launch page(s) scheduled to go live after todays date. To anyone not logged into the wordpress admin, WordPress will treat the page as unpublished and therefore show a 404 error as if the page doesnt exist.
So for your testing you should set it to a page in the past or current date, then of course change the dates for the pages to go live once you launch.
We have found this can happen if optimizepress is not installed properly. if you look your themes page, you will probably see that the location for the theme is something other than /OptimizePress
if it has a number next to it or some other text after the “OptimizePress” then some features wont work correctly
To fix this you need to activate the default theme, delete the existing optimizepress theme and upload the zip file again. You can also follow the steps here: http://www.optimizepress.com/update
You should also check the installation directory of OptimizePress. It must be installed inside
/themes/OptimizePress
If you see any other extra directories, your installation wont work properly. You need to modify the theme folder location via FTP, or get your hosting company to do this for you if you dont know how to use FTP.
There are a few things to check to show your header on your membership pages:
1) Firstly, check that you have set a header URL/header image in the membership options section of the OptimizePress admin settings. Note this is separate to the main site header, so you need to also set the header image here for membership templates
2) Check that you have set the header height for your membership header on the membership options
3) Ensure that in the ON-PAGE settings (below the main page editor) you need to switch on the header so that it shows on your membership pages.
That should solve your problems, but if you are still having issues please post a thread in the customer support area of the forum and one of our team will get back to you
OptimizePress provides the templates for your membership site, but you will require a separate script/plugin to add the security and sequential content delivery.
We recommend either Wishlist Member or Digital Access Pass, both of which can be integrated with OptimizePress. Digital Access Pass provides better support for sequential/content drip functionality
To change the wishlist registration page – scroll down your pages in wordpress and find the wishlist member page (this page is automatically created by wishlist).
Change the template of this page to use the members general content template or one of the other templates and customize this as you would any other page.
Your wishlist registration form will automatically be added to this page. Further customizations can be done through the Wishlist Admin panel.
Occasionally you may have problems with the 2,3,4 etc page links from your blog if you have more than 10 posts on your front page. These 2nd and 3rd etc pages will sometimes show a 404 error instead of showing the next set of posts. You can easily fix this issue…
This issue is normally caused by setting the Settings > Reading page options wrongly. With OptimizePress, you should NOT set the “Posts page” to use any page in your site or that will cause this issue. Just leave it on the -select- option and this should fix your issue
You need to also ensure that you are using a compatibile permalinks structure. You can change this by going to Settings > Permalinks. We recommend using the permalink structure:
/%postname%/
Ok to setup the blog you need to follow these steps:
1) Create a page and set the template to “Blog”. You can call this page whatever you want, but this will become your main blog extension. So for example if you call the page “blog” then your site will be http://www.yourdomain.com/blog . This assumes that you have set your permalinks correctly to /%postname%/ (you can do this inside Settings > Permalinks)
2) If you want the blog to show on the homepage of your site, go into Settings > Reading – and set the home page to be the page you just created
3) Do not set your “posts page” to be the blog page in the reading options or this will stop the blog page working
That should solve any problems you have with the blog
Some of our users have experienced issues with the thumbnail system for uploading thumbnails to your blog posts in OptimizePress.
This can be caused by a couple of things. Firstly check that you have the thumbnails switched on in the blog admin section (there is a tick box towards the bottom of the page). You should also check you are running the latest version of OptimizePress and WordPress.
If you have thumbnails activated and they are still not showing, try these steps to get your thumbnails to work (do them in this order):
1) Change the permissions of your “wp-content/uploads” folder to 777 (you can do this in you FTP program or Cpanel – ask your host if you’re not sure). If you do not see this folder you will need to create it.
2) Change the permissions of your OptimizePress/cache folder to be 777 – this will allow the resized thumbnail to be saved otherwise it may not show in your browser. If you do not see this folder you will need to create it.
3) Advise your host you are using the timthumb.php script and they need to whitelist mod_security on your hosting/domain – this particularly applies to hostgator
4) Speak to your host and check they have the latest version of PHP enabled, and that the GD Library is enabled/installed on your server/host
5) Ask your host if there is anything on their server which should stop the “timthumb.php” script from executing, as they may be familiar with this script
The above steps should fix this problem, but in the event that you are still having issues, please post a thread on the forum
OptimizePress is setup to use the RSS system for any blog posts you add to your site. Note that by default, WordPress does not generate an RSS feed for PAGES only POSTS.
You can find your RSS feed at:
yourdomain.com/feed
If you are using video code from another provider, sometimes it will not show up centered on your pages.
Often this centering needs to be set with the provider of the video code (outside of OptimizePress) but you can try using the HTML center tags around your embed code in the embed field to center the video. This would look something like:
<center> YOUR CODE </center>
Hi
The advanced video features of OptimizePress are currently only avalible for the main video on your pages which can be set up using the video custom options.
However you can now insert additional videos into your pages using the video shortcode. The video shortcode allows you to embed any video hosted with amazon s3 (recommended) or on your own hosting (not recommended). You will need the URL/address of the video to add to the video shortcode, and also set the height/width for your video. The video shortcode will look something like:
You would replace:
>> http://www.videourl.com with your video URL
>> http://www.videoimageurl.com – replace this with your video image still if you want to use one
>> And also replace the height and width with your video height/width
Alternatively you can use embed code provide by an external video host or use the excellent Easy Video Player 2 software which allows you to embed your videos where ever you like.
This issue is normally caused by your video not being optimized for web playback. When you are uploading videos for us online, you need to convert them to a web friendly format.
If videos are not encoded into a web friendly format or they are too large, the browser will struggle to load your video, or may play it back with errors (no sound etc).
Preparing Your Videos For Web Playback
We recommend using the free Handbrake tool for converting your videos to a web ready format. You can download Handbrake for free from http://handbrake.fr/downloads.php
Once you have downloaded the Handbrake software and installed it on your computer, you can begin the conversion process.
1) Open the Handbrake software
2) Handbrake will ask you for your original video source file – so you would go ahead and select your original video file from the file browser
3) Select a destination for your video file by clicking the “browse” button. If you do not pick a destination for the optimized file, it will most likely default to your computer desktop
4) Select the ‘iPhone and iPod Touch’ preset from the presets menu on the right of your Handbrake window
5) Ensure you tick the “web optimized” check box (this will deselect the ‘iPhone and iPod Touch’ setting from the presets – don’t worry about this).
6) Ensure the format is set to ‘MP4′. Do not worry if your file name ends in m4v – this format is perfectly fine – this is just the container format and your video will still be optimized for web playback.
7) Click the “Start” button at the top of your screen (green button). This will start the conversion process.
8) When the process is complete, the software will notify you. Your new web optimized video is now ready.
9) Upload your new optimized video to your video hosting service (we recommend Amazon S3). You can also upload it through your Easy Video Player admin panel if you are using the EVP2 software.
10) Once uploaded, grab the video URL from Amazon/Cloudfront/EVP2 and place this within OptimizePress ready for playback. If you are using Amazon/Cloudfront you should paste the video URL directly into the Video URL field. If you are using EVP2, you should paste their embed code into the EVP field within the OptimizePress video settings
This issue is normally caused by your video not being optimized for web playback. When you are uploading videos for use online, you need to convert them to a web friendly format.
If you have saved your video from other software which does not optimize it for web, this may mean our web video players or other players cannot effectively resize your video without causing lines at the top of sides. Follow the steps below to convert your video to a web ready format:

All OptimizePress pages use CSS/HTML to control the layouts which mean that most mobile browsers will be able to translate the content to a mobile platform, but the sites OptimizePress creates are not specifically mobile optimized (we do have mobile compatible video player integrated for ipad/iphone).
We haven’t tested with any mobile plugins, so these plugins may work, but please bear in mind that the custom fields OptimizePress uses to render items like the headlines and other important conversion elements to the page may not display correctly when using these plugins
In the future we may look at creating a mobile compatible versions of the pages for OptimizePress.
At the moment im afraid our theme isnt compatible with BuddyPress. We are probably going to work on an add-on which will provide this support, and this will be sold as a “community module” as an add on for OptimizePress members. This is likely to be a low priced add-on that’s designed so that our customers who want these extra features can add them at minmal extra cost (and still only a one-time fee)
Our theme will work with most plugins for wordpress. The only conflicts may occur if you plugin applies some styling to the pages which affects our own page styling
Unfortunately as there are so many plugins available, we can’t possibly test them all with our system, so we can’t confim whether or not a plugin will work in advance, but generally most plugins will work.
This tutorial is for if you get an error like:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_nav_menu() …
This can be caused by 2 reasons:
1) If you have a nav menu plugin which is intefering with the navigation systems in OptimizePress
2) If you are using an outdated version of WordPress. You need to be using version 3.0+ of WordPress in order for OptimizePress to work properly, so please upgrade if you are using an outdated version
In order for the SEO options within wordpress to work properly there is one important step you must take:
When you start building your site, first go to OptimizePress > SEO Options
Now you can modify the structure of your page SEO titles on this page. You can leave the settings as they are if you wish, but you will want to change the titles and tags for your home page on this page.
Now when you create any individual pages or posts, you can use our SEO options to customize the page titles, and they should work fine.
If you find any old pages are still not showing your page titles and SEO tags, you simply need to resave/publish those pages (just click the “update” button on those pages) to activate the SEO settings
If you get an error which looks something like:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: scandir() …
This means that your host/server is running an old version of PHP. OptimizePress (and most modern scripts) require PHP version 5 or above. We recommend you contact your host and ask them to upgrade your server/hosting to PHP version 5
Known Hosts Affected: Bluehost (could also be others)
When using the shortcode for the testimonial boxes, it’s important you carefully enter the code for your image if you are using a testimonial with an image included.
Sometimes, your image URL which you are adding to the testimonial shortcode can become hyperlinked. This will normally be indicated in the visual editor view by the blue underline.
If you see your image URL is hyperlinked, you must remove this hyperlink (you can do this via the remove hyperlink option or by removing the hyperlink code in HTML view).
If your image URL is hyperlinked, this will break the shortcode. So the image URL should just be the URL, not hyperlinked in the code. You can check the code in HTML view to establish the issue:
GOOD (HTML VIEW):
BAD (HTML VIEW):
Occasionally you will find that after you have been working on your sales/squeeze/launch page content for a while, and you have quite a lot of content on your page, your page content will disappear when you view the page in your browser (it will normally still show in your editor window)
This is usually caused by a glitch in WordPress which stops rendering your page content if you add shortcodes to your page and do not separate them by a line in-between them.
For example (BAD):
Your codes should look like this (GOOD):
—
Notice the line space in between the shortcodes. This Should be done in the VISUAL editor in WordPress. It should not affect how your actual pages look, but will ensure you dont get any issues with the shortcodes system and WordPress
Question: I’ve just installed a the latest Optimizepress and the “Select Image OR Upload New Squeeze Page Button” option under the admin area (of the post) is not working. It just shows “0″ instead of loading the selection window.
Answer: To fix this you need to upgrade your site to be using the latest PHP version 5 or above. This is caused by running an outdated version of PHP on your server.
Your hosting company will normally be happy to assist with upgrading PHP on your server. Many modern web applications will require PHP5 or above to run properly
Sometimes if you are using the shortcodes and the shortcode becomes formatted within your page this can break the formatting.
If you have an issue with your page formatting, switch to the visual editor, and then scroll through your page.
Look through the shortcode elements which look something like this:
[shortcode name]
and if you see any which have become formatted (for example BOLD or Headline Styled) you need to highlight the shortcode text, and then click the formatting dropdown from the top left of the visual editor, and set it to “format”
This will remove any formatting from the shortcode and should fix your layout issues
There are a few important steps to getting your footer links to show. Ensure that you have done the following to get the footer links to show:
Those steps should ensure that your footer is showing. If your footer still isn’t showing, also check that you have disabled any plugins running on your site as some plugins can break our footer links system
- ensure that on the page you are using, you have ticked the “show footer” in the page customization options.
Sometimes when you try to view some of your pages created with OptimizePress you might see a 404 error. This can be caused by a few reasons:
1) Firstly check that your page is PUBLISHED in WordPress, and is not set to be scheduled or go live in the future. If you schedule your page and then try to view it when logged out of wordpress or in a different browser you will see a 404 error until the date and time it is set to be published
2) Check your permalinks are set correctly – they should be set to /%postname%/ in most cases
3) If you are still seeing 404 errors, you should check with your hosting company that there is nothing on your site which could be affecting the redirects or page structure on your site.
Sometimes web hosts modify what is called the “htaccess file” and this can cause pages to show as 404 errors – so you need to check with your hosting company or webmaster to ensure that there are no redirect scripts or modifications in the htaccess file
It’s very important that when you are editing your page, if you use any of the optimziepress custom options, you modify the correct options for the page template you are using.
There are 3 main options/customization panels which apply to different templates (these show under the main page content editor box):
- Squeeze Page Options (applies to all squeeze page templates – note NOT “squeeze style” sales templates – use the sales/launch options for these
- Sales/Launch Page Options (applies to all the sales/launch templates)
- Membership Page Options (applies to all the membership page templates)
If you are saving custom options but the changes are not showing on the page, it’s probably because you have customized the wrong options for the template you are using – double check which options you have modified and if you’ve used the wrong custom options, copy your content/changes over to the other options panel
This issue is normally due to you having OptimizePress installed in a folder other than
wp-content/themes/OptimizePress
Check your site via FTP and ensure that your folder is Called “OptimizePress” and has no other numbers or characters after the name as this can cause some of the file directories not to be correct and therefore you will get a 404 error
We have also found that in some occassions, the Bulletproof Security plugin for WordPress can sometimes cause this issue. If you have that active, deactivate that to see if this fixes the issue. You may also need to contact your host to check if it has affected your htaccess file as this can get messed up by that plugin and cause issues with our theme
There are a number of things that can cause this. Please try the following:
1) set the permissions of your WP-content/uploads folder to 777 (you can do this in your FTP program or cpanel)
2) contact your host and ask them to check you are running the latest version of php, check you have the latest GD library activated and installed on your host and ask them to add curl wrapper function support.
This issue is caused by your server not allowing OptimizePress permission to write some of the content to your site. To fix this, open your site in an FTP software, and change the permissions of the “uploads” folder (inside the wp-content folder) to 777.
If you do not have an uploads folder in your wp-content folder, you need to create one via FTP.
Your hosting provider will be able to help you change the permissions on your folder if you can’t do it.
This issue is because a page nav plugin is conflicting with our theme navigation systems. Disable any plugins which are a nav plugin and you should have no more issues.
If you cannot access your wordpress dashboard to deactivate this plugin, you will need to access your site via FTP and manually delete the plugin from the wp-content/plugins folder
Firstly, ensure that you are using the very latest version of OptimizePress
Next, you need to setup the funnel options from the Funnel options. If you are using a funnel nav, setup the items in the funnel config. If you’re not using the funnel, just set the funnel items to 0.
You can see more about this on our update video:
http://www.optimizepress.com/dashboa…v113-update-2/
The above steps will fix this issue.
Usually if the shortcode system is not working this is due to you using an outdated version of WordPress. Ensure you are using the latest version – 3.1 which you can upgrade to from within your wordpress admin dashboard.
This issue can also be caused by a glitch in your browser. We recommend clearing your browser cookies and temporary internet files or switching to a different browser to see if this fixes the problem.
OptimizePress requires certain permissions to be set on your server in order to upload images to your site. Follow the steps in this guide to fix this issue:
1) Ensure that the wp-content/uploads folder on your server has the permissions set at 777. This means that our system can write images and files to this folder. You can set the permissions in most FTP software by right clicking on the folder and setting the permissions.
You can also change the folder permissions inside Cpanel file manager system
2) Check that you have sufficient webspace and bandwidth on your server and have allocated a sufficient amount to this website/domain if you are on a reseller account.
We have heard of this issue before with 1&1. You need to contact them and advise them that this is an issue with the version of PHP running on your server.
Ask them to ensure that you are running the latest version of PHP on your server, and also advise them to add the follow line in the .htaccess file, best in the root directory.
AddHandler x-mapp-php5 .php
Occassionally when you install/activate OptimizePress you may get a message like this:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2 bytes) ….
This issue is caused by a lack of memory of the server running to power our theme (it is slightly more complex than normal themes so requires a little more memory to run)
To fix this, do the following:
in wp-config.php file (found in your main wordpress installation folder) find this line:
/** Sets up WordPress vars and included files. */
require_once(ABSPATH . ‘wp-settings.php’);
add this new line above that code:
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’);
This should fix the issue
Facebook comments can be used on Squeeze pages, sales pages, launch pages and membership pages in OptimizePress. They are a great way to engage your audience and get more feedback and social proof which can encourage other visitors to stay on your site longer or buy from you.
To setup Facebook Comments, you need to follow these steps:
1) Ensure you are using the latest version of OptimizePress. We changed some of the Facebook comments system in versions above 1.3, so ensure you are using the latest version
2) Now you need to go to the Facebook Developer page to setup your new APP which will be linked to your Facebook Comments system. First go to :
http://www.facebook.com/developers/ (you will be prompted to login if you are not logged in to Facebook – of course you will need a Facebook account for this)
3) Click the link in the top right that says “Set Up A New App”
4) On the next page, enter a name for your App. This can be anything, but we usually use the name of our website. Click on the “agree” radio button and click “Create Application” (you may now be prompted to enter a security captcha)
5) Once the App is created, go to “Website” on the left menu of the next page and enter your site URL/address in the Site URL field (enter the full address including http://) – click save
6) On the next page you should see the Application ID – you need to copy this number
7) Go back to your OptimizePress site, go to OptimizePress > General Settings, and find the Facebook App ID field and paste in the number you just copied from Facebook
8) You’re done – that is your Facebook comments setup.
Occassionally Facebook comments do have intermittent issues which we cannot do anything about. Please also bear in mind we cannot help with the Facebook Application ID process – you will need to follow Facebook’s own support if you have issues with this.
Firstly, check that you have setup an Application ID for your site where you are using Facebook Comments. This Facebook APP ID must be entered in the comments section for any launch/sales/squeeze page where you are using Facebook comments (you can use on APP ID per domain).
Having an incorrect or missing APP ID will normally lead to “href” errors or the Facebook Comments not showing at all
To setup your Facebook APP ID, go to http://www.facebook.com/developer and click “set up new app” and follow the on screen instructions
Other Causes
We have heard of a few issues with the facebook comments API recently. Unfortunately this is outside of our control – we use the correct comments integrate code provided by Facebook so there is no issue there. The problem is coming from Facebook itself .
You can always switch your pages to use WordPress comments if you are worried about the facebook comments reliability – but their system should hopefully be back up and running fully soon.
Firstly, You should ensure that you have checked your Facebook APP ID is correct as this will cause error messages if it is not setup correctly.
If you have checked your Facebook APP ID is correct: We have heard of a few issues with the Facebook comments API recently which has meant that occassionally Facebook comments do not show on OptimizePress based pages.
This is not an OptimizePress based issue – and is related to the Facebook API or comments system being temporarily down. Unfortunately this is outside of our control and hopefully the issue will be fixed as soon as possible.
You can always switch your pages to use WordPress comments if you are worried about the facebook comments reliability, or use both Facebook and WordPress comments so you have both sides covered.

Payments are sent every 2 weeks for qualifying affiliates. You must have a minimum payment amount of $50 and those sales must be outside of their guarantee period (30 days after sale date). Provided your stats match these, a payout will be triggered. If you dont meet these thresholds, a payment will be sent on the next payment date if you have then reached the thresholds.
